IPL Winners list from 2008-2021, Updated List of IPL Winners & Runners Up

IPL Winners List: The final match of the 14th season of the Indian Premier League will take place between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders on Friday 15 October.

This clearly shows that IPL will not get any new champions as both the teams have been winners of the tournament in the past.

At the same time, Mumbai Indians has been the team that has won the most titles in the 13 seasons played so far, but before the final of IPL 2021, know which team has won the title by defeating which team.

The record of winning the most titles in IPL is in the name of Mumbai Indians. Under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, the Mumbai team has won the title not once or twice, but 5 times. The defending champion is also Mumbai Indians, but the team could not qualify in this season’s play-offs.

In such a situation, this tag is going to be snatched from the team, which will be decorated on the head of Chennai Super Kings or Kolkata Knight Riders.

Chennai Super Kings is the second after Mumbai, which has won the IPL title three times so far. Twice Kolkata Knight Riders have also won the trophy.

On the other hand, if we talk about those who have not won a single trophy so far, then Punjab Kings, Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore are named in it.

Apart from these, all the teams have won at least one title, which teams have played in this season’s tournament.

However, now all these three teams are out of the race for the final. In such a situation, even after 14 years, the hands of these teams have remained empty from the IPL trophy.

Next year two more teams will join this tournament and thus it will be very difficult for these teams to capture the trophy next year as the competition will also be tough.
